Due to circumstances beyond our control it would appear that certain bugs in the system (referred to in this post) have returned and are refusing to be debugged.
However, our technicians (Mr Aspirin, Mr Whisky, Mr… well, you get the idea) are working industriously on the problem around the clock and normal service will be resumed as soon as possible.

Sorry to read about the bug returning. Perhaps you need to recompile your code?
(hope you get to feeling top-notch quickly)
Yeah… there seems to be a glitch in one of the subroutines. Musta been written by Microsucks.
At your age it is far more likely to be FORTRAN.
Ah, those were the days. And all those other languages as well. What was there? Cobol, Pascal, and heaven knows what else.
Not like the latest Microsucks coding… can’t get me head around it at all. And have you tried working in Visual Studio lately? Bloody hell. Its no surprise we need machines with umpteen gigs of RAM and wotnot.
I abandoned my programming days back in the late 80′s after having taken courses in COBOL, BASIC and FORTRAN (I and II).
I won’t even venture into modern languages like Java, HTML, etc. While I greatly enjoy the Net and consumer electronics I just don’t have any desire to get back into programming.

Ooh, ooh, does that make me a programmer then, cos I was under the impression that HTML was a text markup language not a programming one.
Huh… trust you to let the cat out of the bag. I was gonna let him carry on in his state of blissful ignorance. But at least you didn’t say anything about it not even being particularly modern… in computing terms at least.
