I’ve relented

As regular visitors to my Flickr photostream may have noticed, I tend to fairly regularly photograph growing things… trees, flowers, etc.

And endeavour to carefully tag them as accurately as I can, given my somewhat less than comprehensive knowledge of such things.

So its with great disappointment that I’ve observed no-one has yet bothered to enquire how I manage to so accurately identify such things… given that I know bugger all about them.

Therefore I’d pretty much decided, in a fit of sulks, to keep my amazing secret to myself… until someone posted a comment on a pic that was just sort of crying out for me to “reveal all”.

Ok. So I’ve relented. And here, out of the goodness of my heart, I make available for the very first time my own personal and private “Field Guide to Stuff Growing Outdoors“.

Feel free to print it out and carry it with you. You’ll find it invaluable in helping you identify all that “growing stuff” out there in the wilds.
But if you reproduce it anywhere else in this wonderful cyberworld of ours all I humbly ask is a link back to here, the genuine original source.

My intention is that this wonderfully useful resource shall be a permanent part of this ‘ere blog.

But I may delete it at any moment and without warning should I suddenly decide that it lowers the tone of the place, or indeed that it creates the impression of this being a far more educational/intellectual blog than is actually the case, despite all appearances to the contrary.

So, enjoy it while you can!

Oh it is, it is. In fact, with this little Guide you’ll be well-armed to identify all manner of wonderful things. And not just in Bedfordshire but the whole of England wouldya believe!

      Er…

On second thoughts, you’re not actually in anywhere civilised, are you? Perhaps it won’t be much use to you after all then.
      ;)

You might think you have slighted me, but I would only agree.
