you wanna watch out where/how you say that you *had* a Brownie! you could get arrested for it if it gets taken the wrong way! Mistaking you for a paedophile next, would go along with the arty image though wouldn’t it?

Heh heh. I even had a Brownie… though it wasn’t the Box model.

But the word “develop” hasn’t totally fallen out of usage… there’s a Develop module in Lightroom where all the fine-tuning of RAW files is done before they’re… er… “developed” into JPEGs!

But what about the word “film” them? How many youngsters of the digital compact generation likely think film equates to movies, not realising that at one time photographs were taken on rolls of film?

D’you know, I’m amazed how well-liked that top photo is. It was practically the last shot of the day as I remember and I really didn’t expect it to work at all. In fact, I said to mate at the time “I know this is a stupid thing to try, but what the hell…”
If I’d had a tripod with me, different matter entirely of course. But then, if I’d been carrying a tripod we probably wouldn’t have walked quite as far, and therefore not been out quite so late in the afternoon, so the opportunity wouldn’t have occurred.

However, I’m really rather pleased it came out as well as this… though it could have been better. But then, shots could always be better.
