Another part of the day of parts
November 14, 2008
So, following on from my last post, there was I traipsing around Kempston beginning to hear the call of The Bear, and lunch.
Feet pointing in the direction of Bedford I packed away the camera well satisfied with the pics I’d taken, and no intention of doing anything else photo-related. Well, not until after lunch and a few coffees anyway.
That was the plan.
But then I spotted a signpost pointing the way to a previously unnoticed footpath leading down to the river and, eventually, Bedford itself.
Thinking it may be a bit of a shorter route I decide to follow it. Bad move!
Hadn’t walked more than a 100 yards or so before I began spotting stuff that really was asking to be photographed. But I resisted. Walked a bit further. More stuff. Walked a bit further still…
Oh, sod it! Break out the camera and start with the next part of the day’s photography… conveniently dubbed by me as “A walk by the river”.
And the ever-changing light to which I referred in my previous post once more made its mark, possibly even more noticeably than before.
To be continued (again)…

Hum….from the pics posted here it would appear you were off the beaten path.

Yeah, somewhat. I was quite pleased to end up there though cos the last time I was that way with the camera the resulting pics weren’t too brilliant.
