Looking in the opposite direction to Cardington Hangars (i.e., looking westwards – see previous post) I noticed the sky gradually becoming overburdened with ominous-appearing clouds.
Clearly, pics for the taking. So how could I refuse?
But its a bit of a weird sky for September in the English countryside. And apparently the predictions are for a month with even more rainfall than August!
Whilst I relish the thought of even more dramatic pics I’ve gotta say the weather’s being a bit strange.
I think they’re great. Same here about the weather being odd. Today was hot and clear then about oh, say 4ish or 5 pm, clouds and weird light rain. There was no mention of rain in our forecast. Now it’s more humid than it was before… damn, cool weather can’t get here soon enough.
The clouds in your pics seem to be marching forth in waves…like rain bands in a hurricane.
