Flexible, that’s me!
May 6, 2008
Never let it be said that once I’ve made up my mind positively, finally, and decisively upon a particular thing or course of action there’s any real risk of my sticking to it!
In fact, all my decisions really ought to carry a sort of government health warning type label to the effect:
“Warning! This decision is liable to be changed at any moment!”
I call it being open-minded and flexible. Receptive to new information. Adaptable to changing circumstances. Prepared to modify preconceived ideas. Sorta thing. That’s not how some other folk describe it of course!
Case in point…
Following on from the recently-related saga of the “Monotone Photobloggers Theme”. As a consequence of which I’ve ended up with another blog here at WordPress. That isn’t using the Monotone Theme.
And the intention for that blog was to post just one pic a month, from my Flickr photostream, basically being the one I like best from that month’s shooting. Um. Yes. That was the intention.
But I’ve just been reviewing, for the umpteenth time, the photos I shot during April and have realised there’s actually more than one that I quite like. Hmm. And I’ve got this brand new blog with precious few posts. Well, obvious really. Just rename it from “fave of the month” to “faves of the month”.
And maybe change the layout a tad. So that it shows more than the one pic per page I’d originally decided on. Ho hum.
Reminds me of my momentous decision years back never to play around with photography again. Yeah. Right.
Heh heh!

There simply aren’t enough hours in the day to get through all of your sites! Henry David Thoreau said “simplify, simplify, simplify”.
It’s becoming a full-time job (non-paying job at that!) just keeping up with fotdmike!
It’s true….you are everywhere and never sleep. You are the Mike-o-Matic 6000 robot!

And that’s just the ones you know about! Heh heh
And as for the Mike-o-Matic 6000. Well, think Douglas Adams… think Marvin

Thanks Tam. If anything I think it works better than the theme I wanted to use in the first place.
