I think we become too readily trapped by all the features of our dSLR kits and forget that our ultimate goal is to take a picture; either as a record or even as art.  Being able to shoot from the hip, so to speak, at a moments notice is, in my opinion, probably more enjoyable than the whole dSLR thing.  dSLR is icing on the cake, but I can eat just cake and still be quite happy.]]></description>
