Um… second thoughts… maybe it was a record for timing purposes or something (i.e. this vehicle’s been parked here xxx long and so now I’m issuing a ticket). Which stands (maybe) up if her pics were being time-stamped.

I saw a traffic warden (CPO) today with a point and shoot, she was photographing a van with mirrored windows, not that uncommon for workers to do this, to stop thefts from vehicles, she did not give it a ticket or write anything down she took two shots one from the front one from the rear, number plate must be in both shots?
What do you make of that?

So clearly I’m a terrorist plotting to pollute the water supply! And dammit, they’ve now got my presence on record. Huh, just have to think up another plot now I suppose.

I suspect the reason they behaved as they did was simply because they had no legitimate or indeed legal reason to stop/question me. Nothing about my behaviour could possibly by construed as “suspicious” by any reasonable person, so any attempt to interrogate me would likely have ended up in court with me as the plaintiff… if I were so inclined. And I’m sure they were well cognisant of this.

Just to clarify one point though… I wasn’t aware of them tailing me in the van until after our encounter and, I have to stress, that was friendly enough.
