Happened to glance out the window, and saw some interesting-looking clouds in the sky. So quickly grabbed the camera and took a stroll outside…
These four shots were taken within minutes of each other. Aside from tweaking the exposure and fill light slightly to bring out the foreground, and sharpening a tad, none of them have been colour-enhanced. Amazing the differences simply by looking in different directions!

You’ve had a handful of really nice sky/cloud images over the past months. I keep looking up at my sky for the same sort of great moments, but we haven’t had any.
ANY!
The sky is sucking here in southeastern Ohio.
Cheers! But be careful what you pray for… don’t you get stuff like tornadoes and whirlwinds and suchlike over your way?
Well, yes. We do. This part of Ohio sees tornadoes at certain times of the year. But consider this: I’m from Florida and lived 35 of my 43 years in Florida. I have lived through seven hurricanes and two tornadoes, including one that knocked me out, if ever so briefly (while in my car).
Ohio can’t even begin to compete with what Florida tried to do to me.
Aha! You do realise you’ve just set yourself up for me to expect some great “trucks flying through the air” shots from you, don’t you? Heh heh.
I’ll make the requisite virgin sacrifices to the gods of weather and see what I can do for you.
