Pull a prank that packs a punch!

The International Rising Tide network and its allies called for a day of action against the fossil fuel industry on April 1st 2008, FOSSIL FOOLS DAY!

People & Planet” played their part by staging a demo in London’s Parliament Square, which entailed constructing 12ft high power station cooling towers!

Afterwards some of the students went along to lobby MPs inside Parliament itself.

You got some really great photos in this group; especially nearer the beginning of the set. I particularly liked the one with just the two white towers – it really pops at you.

Looks like you had some more reasonable weather for a switch too!

If you mean the one I think you mean then I’ve gotta agree. Imo it has real impact.

And weather-wise, yeah the day was pretty good with just a couple of overcast spells that didn’t last too long. And for the first time this year there was no cold wind (I’m sure it follows me around!).
